There are specialized situations and needs encountered while working with the specific audience of teen mothers and their children. YoungLives staff and volunteer coordinators are encouraged to participate in YoungLives training options.
Young Life Trainings
The goal of YoungLives is the same as Young Life — sharing Christ with adolescents. As such, staff and volunteer coordinators are encouraged to seek out and participate in any Young Life trainings offered by their areas, regions and divisions. Multiethnic Trainings
YoungLives ministries reach girls of a variety of multiethnic backgrounds. Staff and volunteer coordinators can benefit from trainings offered by the Multiethnic leadership in their division. For more information, please contact the Multiethnic Office.

Field Leadership for Focused Ministries
Adapted from Leadership 1 and 2, Field Leadership is specifically designed for the training of volunteer and part-time staff in focused ministries such as Capernaum, YoungLives, Young Life College and Young Life Small Towns. Summits
YoungLives Summits may be held in a division or a region. These summits are a great opportunity for new and veteran YoungLives coordinators and key volunteers to be encouraged, build strategy and to be equipped in their roles. Please contact your divisional coordinator with questions.

Thrive
THRIVE is a cohort designed for YoungLives Senior Leadership to grow mission wide community, encouraging and elevating women in leadership and providing requested resources from the field all towards the goal of increasing our reach and impact with pregnant and parenting teenagers.
Staff participating in THRIVE will receive training in these disciplines to become an even more effective part of establishing and sustaining the powerful movement of YoungLives serving the marginalized population of teen parents around the world: Executive Skills Spiritual Practices Development and Leadership Cultural Intelligence (CQ) Emotional Health and Intelligence (EQ) Resource Development Peer Mentoring
Elevate
ELEVATE is a mission-wide training program offered to all YoungLives staff and volunteers. Designed to grow leadership spiritually, culturally and intellectually as we serve teen parents around the world.
